What does "Maasai" stand for in our name?

The Maasai Tribe in Africa is one of the oldest African tribes. They are the only tribe left which still adheres to their ethnic culture and traditions. They have resisted the changes of western influence and remain true to their ancestry. The braiding styles used within the tribe are a depiction of the age and status of it's members. Some of the most popular braids are worn by the warriors of the tribe, whereas the women of the tribe typically wear their hair short and unbraided.
We dedicated our name and business to the Maasai tribe because of our respect for their ethics and traditions.
